Cassie Schirm is an award-winning journalist, who has reported across the country from Africa to Alaska to learn new cultures and tell others stories. 

 

Cassie has reported in two Emmy winning newscasts for breaking news during a 7.2 earthquake, she’s been nominated for an Emmy for breaking news coverage and has won a NATAS Mid America Emmy for breaking news reporting covering a plane crash in a busy intersection in Fayetteville.

 

Cassie puts her heart in her stories. She shoots, writes, and edits her stories. She also is a fill-in anchor and is weather trained.

When she’s not working she’s outdoors fishing, hiking with her pup Coco, listening to live music or trying new things.
